Black Future Month.

Engine London asked me to highlight young black excellence by turning Black History Month into Black Future Month.

This was to be the first black history month since the BLM protests, so I decided that the tone of voice needed be bold, unapologetic, and proud: ‘The future’s bright, the future’s black’

The Future's Bright. The Future's Black.

The tagline was not only a show of support for the movement, but an acknowledgement that black culture is the driving force of mainstream media, creating trends that the rest of the world jump onto. (It was a big year for hot girl summer)

We wrapped Engine's London office in the typographically designed copy.

Social Media.

We took over their social media to further distribute our message.

Microsite.

Finally, we created a microsite that allows young black creatives to showcase their work and connect with agencies searching for new talent.
